Job Overview
We are looking to add a janitor to our team. The ideal person would love cleaning, take pride in a job well done and be ready to make positive contributions to a high performing team.
Janitors in general:
-Perform a variety cleaning tasks as instructed by a supervisor to meet the needs of our clients.
-Use a variety of cleaning products and equipment to complete assigned cleaning tasks
-Be on your feet and moving for several hours at a time
Responsibilities
-Provide basic maintenance floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
-Remove daily trash by emptying trash cans at desks and transporting to dumpster
-Maintain guest ready waiting rooms by dusting furniture, cleaning glass doors and other necessary tasks
-Create clean and sanitary restrooms by cleaning sinks, toilets and mirrors and restocking supplies like toilet paper, soap and paper towels.
-Promote a healthy work environment by dusting desks, meeting rooms office furniture and sanitizing surfaces
-Ensure break rooms are ready for use by thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting tables, sinks, counters, appliances and chairs and refilling items such as paper towels and soap.
Requirements and Skills
-High school diploma is highly desirable but not required.
-1 year experience in a janitorial cleaning job or other job with cleaning duties.
-A willingness and ability to follow instructions either verbal or written.
-Must have an eye for detailed and a focus on customer service
-Capable of working as part of a team who are able to work alone unsupervised
-Ability to engage in positive professional interactions with customers supervisors and other team members
