Medication Technician- Jacksonville Florida

The Beach House is a refreshingly comfortable Assisted Living and Memory Care Community tucked inside a residential neighborhood less than a mile from the Atlantic ocean and gorgeous beaches.

We are urgently seeking full-time, part-time, and as needed Med Tech/Caregivers to assist in offering care to our wonderful residents.

Shifts available include 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm to 7am.

FUNCTION: Assistance with self-administration of oral and external medications to residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Freedom from illegal use of drugs.
• Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in the position.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Computer use may be required.
