Dog Walker- Jacksonville Florida

We are currently seeking a reliable and passionate Dog Walker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners.

Position Summary: As a Dog Walker at B3 Dog Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring dogs in your care receive the exercise and attention they need to stay healthy and happy. You will have the opportunity to build strong bonds with our four-legged clients while enjoying the outdoors and staying physically active.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and effectively walk dogs of various breeds and sizes, adhering to leash laws and safety guidelines.
• Provide companionship, exercise, and mental stimulation to dogs during walks.
• Ensure the well-being of each dog by monitoring their behavior and health during walks.
• Pick up and dispose of pet waste in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
• Maintain accurate records of walks, including route details, time, and any incidents or concerns.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their pets' well-being and address any special instructions.
• Keep track of the dogs' behavior and report any unusual activities or health issues to the pet owner or supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene when handling dogs, including washing paws after walks if necessary.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ensuring the safety of both the dogs and yourself at all times.

Qualifications:

• A genuine love for dogs and a strong understanding of their behavior and needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their pets.
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle dogs of various sizes and energy levels.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in dog walking, pet care, or related fields is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability during weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
