Tom Nehl Truck Company has a full-time Delivery Driver position available at the Jacksonville, Florida site.

Tom Nehl, the undisputed best heavy-duty truck dealership in Northeast Florida and South Georgia, is looking for experienced and qualified Delivery Driver. Tom Nehl represents multiple manufacturers, including Freightliner; Volvo; Western Star; Isuzu; Sprinter; Capacity; Detroit; Caterpillar; and Cummins.
 
Tom Nehl Truck Company provides a very competitive wage. In addition, we have a full benefit package which includes the options for medical, vision, employer paid dental insurance, HSA with an employer contribution, FSA, $20,000 employer paid life insurance, optional life insurance, short-term and long-term disability plans. We offer paid time off and seven paid holidays per year.
 
Position Responsibilities
Responsible to maintain the delivery vehicle per operation standards and operate the vehicle in a safe and cautious manner to maintain a clean driving record. Ensure the proper and timely delivery of parts while following the Dispatcher’s schedule. Conduct yourself in a professional manner in both conduct and appearance.
 
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior work experience in a delivery and customer service setting is preferred.
  • Valid driver license with a good driving record and the ability to maintain it.
 
Physical Requirements
This position may include long hours spent standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing, reaching, and stretching. There will be occasional lifting and/or moving up to fifty (50) pounds. It will require repetitive motions of the hands, wrists and elbows, and will be expected to operate motorized equipment. This position will require a flexible schedule and periodic overtime, as needed.

Our flagship location at 417 Edgewood Ave. S., adjacent to I-10, has new and used truck sales, parts, service, body shop, and leasing departments.

Jacksonville on University Blvd

Our Tom Nehl South location is at 5040 University Blvd,  just off I-95, and has parts and service department, as well as sales for Western Star trucks. 

Lake City

You can find our Lake City location just off I-75 at 383 SW Arrowhead Terrace. This location has parts, service, and Isuzu truck sales. 

Waycross, GA

Our Waycross location at 708 Francis St is currently a parts-only location, but with future plans to add service and sales.
