Atlantic Eye Institute is a multi-specialty ophthalmology group seeking a qualified ophthalmic technician with excellent communication and organizational skills.
The surgical counselor will spend considerable one-on-one time with the patient to educate on various premium surgical options. This is a full time position and the applicant should possess the following skill set:
Surgical scheduling knowledge, adheres to surgery checklist
Highly organized with ability to effectively multitask
Strong computer skills
Must present professional image
Good rapport with patients in person and on phone regarding testing, appointments, surgical scheduling, pre and post-operative instructions
Meticulous follow-up during each step of the process

Required experience: 2 years as an Ophthalmic Technician
